DIRECTIONS TO LAKE EDITH RENTAL SHOP:
From Jasper townsite, head north-east on Hwy 16, turn right onto Moberly Bridge to cross the Athabasca River. Take the right hand fork towards Lake Edith/ Annette day-use areas (also towards the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge). Take your first left into the Lake Edith/ Annette day-use area via Lake Annette Rd. and follow that road for 1.5 kilometres. Park in the first horse-shoe shaped parking lot on your left hand side. Our meeting location is down by the beach by the black trailer.

Alisen leads openhearted, explorations of breath and movement that support joint health, encourage play, and foster joyful discovery. Her yoga teaching style combines physical strength building vinyasa-hatha posture sequences with mental-emotional resilience techniques in a nurturing atmosphere. As a recovering perfectionist, she knows the profound importance of contentment and quiet. She is a journalist and professional photographer turned entrepreneur on a search for ways to re-wild her life and move her body more. Paddling, hiking, swimming, yoga, meditation, and dance are key components in a prescription of motion and personal awareness designed to stop the advance of an autoimmune disease, inflammatory arthritic condition called ankolysing spondylitis. Through warmth and encouragement, she aims give others the power and peace she's found on the water.
